Lowertown Pop Minnesota Makers’ Market Returns to Union Depot on March 24 with More Than 50 Local Artisans and Craftspeople

February 21, 2018

The annual Lowertown Pop Minnesota Makers’ market will take place Saturday, March 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Union Depot in downtown St. Paul. The event, held in partnership with Becky Sturm of StormSister Spatique, will feature more than 50 local artisans and craftspeople including bakers, distillers, musicians, and visual artists, as well as makers of jewelry, apparel, accessories, apothecary goods, toys, decorative objects, and much more. There will also be a DJ spinning tunes, and live demos on the main stage, throughout the event.

Advance tickets are $8 each, with free admission for children ages five and under. Tickets are $10 at the door. All ticket sales benefit our nonprofit partner and one Minnesota maker. Fifty percent of event ticket sales will be donated to Walk Talk Connect, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness of rare brain and spinal cord tumors affecting the central nervous system, and 50 percent will be given to one lucky Minnesota Maker. Half of the ticket price is tax-deductible. For more information or to purchase tickets, please visit   For information about Walk Talk Connect, visit

Last year’s Minnesota Maker winner was Northern Glasses. “Being chosen as the recipient of funds from Lowertown Pop came at the perfect time for us,” said Mitch Reaume, CEO of The VOICE Community/Northern Glasses. “It enabled us to pay off the remaining start-up debt we incurred when investing in having branded packaging engineered, designed and developed.” For more information about Northern Glasses, visit
