The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will stop at Union Depot on Tuesday, December 10 for a musical performance. Canadian Pacific is committed to raising awareness about filling community food shelves with heart-healthy foods. This event will start at approximately 6:45 PM.
The CP Holiday Train is North America’s longest rolling food bank fundraiser and since it started in 1999, the program has raised close to $15.8 million and 4.5 million pounds of food. Over the three weeks of the program, musicians will play more than 150 concerts from a boxcar turned into a traveling stage. The concerts are free, but you are encouraged to bring a donation for the Merrick Community Services Food Shelf — either a non-perishable food item or a cash donation. Everyone’s contributions will directly assist those in need in our community.
We STRONGLY encourage that you bring a non-perishable food or cash donation for our partners, Merrick Community Services.
This event will start at approximately 6:45 PM with a welcome by Commissioner Ortega, followed by performances by Meghan Patrick, Tanika Charles and Kelly Prescott!
Purchase a VIP Ticket for granted access to a preferred viewing area closest to the stage plus other perks before the show!
