Dawn Westermann | Venue Sales Manager Dawn Westermann comes to us with a decade of event experience, helping customers plan and execute many aspects of events of all kinds and sizes. From working at a tent and event rental company, Dawn built a network of vendor and venue connections. Prior to that, she used her Mass Communication-Advertising degree in advertising sales for trade magazines in the industries of tented events and business communicators. Her work passion is “making cool events happen” in whatever capacity she has. For fun, she likes traveling, visiting museums, hearing live music, trying new microbrews and pheasant hunting with her son Nicolas and their Brittany Spaniel, Chase. Devyn Cannon | Event Sales & Coordination Supervisor Devyn Cannon earned a degree in Business Communications at the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota and is overjoyed to be able to continue her passion for bringing events to life in the beautiful city of Saint Paul. Devyn has previously worked organizing and executing community events within the Twin Cities as well as weddings in northern Minnesota. As a Special Events Coordinator at Union Depot, Devyn works to organize the details of our private events and will be present on the day of your event to see it all the way through execution! She provides exceptional service to clients, couples, guests, and vendors, ensuring that all events are executed seamlessly and unforgettable “moments” are created. For fun, she loves to rollerblade – In 2019 she skated the Apostle Island Inline Marathon, finishing the race in just under three hours. She also enjoys finding scenic areas to go on walks, attending concerts, and visiting new restaurants. Valerie Condon | Special Events Coordinator Valerie earned a business degree in Marketing from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management. She also minored in Spanish Studies, completing her final class in Cuernavaca, Mexico. She is thrilled to work one-on-one with clients to help bring event visions to life at Union Depot. Valerie has several years’ experience marketing and planning events in various industries ranging from sports to non-profit. She enjoys the excitement of pulling the many event elements together, as well as being a part of important milestones and memories. As a Special Events Coordinator at Union Depot,she will work closely with you to ensure your day is as special as you imagined it. In her free time, Valerie is involved in the local fashion community and enjoys being active. She loves to travel and spends as much time with family and friends as possible. Nick Moll | Special Events Coordinator Nick brings valuable event experience to his role at Union Depot. A graduate of Central Michigan University, Nick majored in Recreation, Parks, & Leisure Services with an emphasis in Event Management. He’s thrilled to use his unique skills to help coordinate exceptional events in a picturesque Saint Paul setting. Previously, Nick worked as a Venue Assistant just a stone’s throw away from Union Depot at St. Paul’s premier music venue—Amsterdam Bar & Hall. Here, he organized and executed a variety of private events including concerts, dance performances, fundraisers, competitions, and parties. Nick strives to coordinate experiences that visitors will cherish for a lifetime. He takes pride in accounting for the important details that make private events at Union Depot memorable. Outside of work, Nick pursues his passion for music as a talented multi-instrumentalist. He plays piano, guitar, and drums. Additionally, he keeps his mind sharp by completing a 1000-piece puzzle every week. Living in the Twin Cities is a natural fit for Nick, as he is a twin himself. Dresi Pass | Special Events Coordinator Dresi graduated from the University of Central Florida (UCF) with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Minor in Marketing. She is thrilled to be back in her home state and further explore the city of St. Paul. Before joining our team, Dresi worked in a marketing role in the healthcare industry. In this position, she helped coordinate and manage the company’s trade show presence including: attendee registration, booth set up, AV, shipping/logistics and conference materials. These trade shows ranged in size from 300-3,000 people and were located throughout the United States. Dresi is really excited to get more into the private events and meeting new people. She loves sharing the core memories that are made with these events with clients. In her free time, Dresi loves travel to new places as well as spend her time outside with friends and family. She also loves to play in sand volleyball leagues as she played Division 1 volleyball at UCF for 4 years.
